Rockwell Collins Filter Products
engineers are prepared to design filters for specific applications.
Since 1952, they have specialized in designing Collins mechanical
filters to meet special requirements of their OEM customers.
The company designs and manufactures filters with as few as
two resonators and as many as 12 resonators. The center
frequency range of torsional filters is from 100 KHz to 525 KHz with
bandwidths as low as 0.02 percent and as high as four percent of the
center frequency. The inductor-less filters simply require a
specified parallel capacitance and resistance for proper termination.
Operating temperature ranges
can extend from -55° C to 85°C or greater when enclosed in a
hermetic package.
Rockwell Collins Filter Products
is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. The 16,000 square
foot facility has complete manufacturing and engineering capabilities
and an on-site sales and marketing staff. At Rockwell
Collins Mexicali, Mexico location, the company assembles all
torsional and low frequency mechanical filters. It also
performs sub-assembly work on all types of Collins mechanical
filters in a modern, high-tech, 6,000-square-foot facility.
